Hawk Hill / Hill 129 Visitor Accessibility Improvements

Roth/LaMotte is currently working on construction observation for Phase 3 for the visitor use improvements at Hawk Hill, in the Marin Headlands. Phase 2 was completed in the Fall of 2021. Design elements include grading, site furnishings, pavement types, and a small monument on the top of the Hill.  The intent of the project is to redesign the visitor use experience along the Coastal Trail network while enhancing and celebrating existing natural resources, endangered species habitat, cultural/historic resources and safety. Phase 1, the trail connection to the top of the hill has been completed in Fall 2017.  Construction of Phase 2 was completed in 2021, with Phase 3 is currently slated for construction for Fall 2023
